I've a chance to get a well-maintained Nikon LS 1000 scanner at a reasonable price. I've decided that, for my first scanner, I want something inexpensive while I sort out the whole process of scanning and get a clear idea of what features I want in a new(er) unit.
Does anyone have experience with the LS 1000? What can you tell me about it?
