I had a chance to borrow a MZ-S from Henry's and well,
two things struck me, I have used a n70 with the cross
sensor and well
while I will say the MZ-s is faster, seems more
accurate I still wish
it had a central cross sensor. I also noticed that it
would
focus on the closest or most detailed object any
sensor falls on but
if it moves, I was impressed with it's ability to
track cars through
the AF area switching from sensor to sensor and
locking/keeping lock
easily. I wonder if Pentax intentionally left a cross
sensor out for
some reason but it still can not lock on some small
subjects a cross
sensor would.
