Funny how there are no people in the shot though. By the way... maybe I'm looking too hard, but isn't one of the cars in the far lane going in the wrong direction? hmmmm...
Nope, this is actually a parking lot. On this street there is a parking just in parallel to the street itself. So someone parked the other way around <g>.
Thanks everyone. I was told by few other people that this composition still lacks some center, some place where one's attention would eventualy arrive. I tend to agree with that still I like this shot. I used poralizer to compensate for window reflections and to add a little punch to the color. I think it worked at least to some extent.
As for the lens itself. Ultimately I paid for it slightly more than $80 shipped. Though it is in remarkably good condition. It took me some time to actually notice the signs of it being used. I am yet to hold in my hands any real K lens. This one is M lens. As such I find it very good. It is way better than my Sigma 28-135 zoom wide open at 35 mm. It is fast enough and it is very small. I think that for some time it is going to serve as a standard lens on my ME Super, should I ever get it from repair shop <g>. Also it seems that it has virtually no distortions. Finally, I think it is sharp enough for my purposes. It is evidently less sharp than my FA 50/1.7 lens, but really not by much.
I really wonder what Mishka would think of this shot. The critique I got came from Russian-spoken Usefilm member and from a friend of mine, who is also Russian-spoken.
Rest assured there'll be more to come.
