True - there are chips that need a lot of configuration, but is OpenOCD 
aiming for such chips and their users only? For me that's a GREAT 
advantage that I can just type "openocd -f interface/....cfg -f 
target/....cfg" and start working, no need to create a new config file 
for every simple project. I know that developers around this list now 
focus a lot on hardcore chips like OMAP3xxx, but do remember that there 
are hundreds/thousands of OpenOCD users who use ARM7TDMI or Cortex-M3 at 
most. For them (and for me sometimes) this talk about things that are 
board-specific is just trying to find more non-existent problems.
