Hello David,

however, here we speak about distributing binary WITHOUT non-free
library. A binary which does not depend on a non-free library. If there
is a free option compiled in, such binary may be used without non-free
driver and thus user has CHOICE to use free or non-free driver.

There is nothing wrong in distributing binary compiled for a non-free
CPU (a core not released under GPL) so with all the respect to GPL, I do
not understand why is it wrong to distribute binary having (beside
others) just SUPPORT for a non-free hw?

Another matter is a binary dependent on a non-free library, but this is
not the case.

Best regards,
   Pavel
