I’d disagree with this.
London- Entry – Few and far between, bit of a crisis in that there are loads of Ruby schools producing entry level developers who arnt really ready to develop yet without a lot of supervision. These developers have to spend 6 -12 months working on personal projects to become employable in a lot of cases. Junior – Can just about function on their own without loads of input - £25-30k Upper Junior to Lower Mid-level- £30k-45k Mid-Mid-level to lower Senior - £45-60k Upper senior to rails core team - £60k-£90k.
