ma scommetterei di aver scritto "apprendere", non "comprendere", un
linguaggio.
E' come con un martello: capire come è fatto è diverso da saperlo usare
bene. Però non è nemmeno così, perché gli LLM, senza comprendere il
linguaggio né la relativa semantica, né quello che poi arrivano a dire:
- Intanto, scrivono bene;
- Poi, se dicono cazzate, sono cazzate veniali;
- Infine, riescono a fare cose PER ME (e qui, solo qui, gioca la parola
"profano", perché profano sono, ma le cose ritengo di capirle benissimo,
...come il matto che era matto, ma non era scemo) **inaspettate**.
Tanto per dire che nulla accade per caso, mi dai il destro per finire il
discorso di ieri con DeepSeek...
Oggi ho trovato su Quora una risposta magicamente illuminante su quel
concetto "maledetto" che è l'entropia. Ho propinato la cosa, fresca
fresca, a DeepSeek, e questo è venuto fuori -- senza capire un beneamato
di quello che dice -- con una risposta, cazzate veniali a parte, che in
confronto con una persona di senno avrei dovuto perdere due giorni di
tempo solo per fargli capire di cosa parlassi, prima di avere riscontro.
Prima di propinarvi quanto è venuto fuori, faccio una digressione. C'è
chi dice che abbiamo fatto un trade-off, noi umani, fra rapidità di
reazione e linguaggio: abbiamo qualcosa per trasmettere conoscenza fra
noi e con le nuove generazioni, che è stato il motore del nostro
sviluppo (se un polpo potesse istruire la prole, invece di morire prima,
il pianeta sarebbe loro di certo, tanto sono intelligenti, ...ma
purtroppo senza trasmissione culturale). Ci abbiamo però rimesso in
rapidità di riflessi: c'è un video di come uno scimpanzé clicca in
ordine su dei numeri a video, con una velocità impossibile per un umano
normale.
Ebbene, abbiamo di fronte, fatta da noi, ma "divertentemente" (per dirla
alla Cetto la Qualunque) in buona parte incompresa, una macchina che
parla *in fretta* senza capire quello che dice, ma la dice -- su una
base **puramente statistica** (non "compresa") di conoscenza verbale e
sostanziale "acquisita" -- molto ma molto bene.
Qualcuno qui -- Guido -- sostiene, se da profano ho capito -- che ci
sono delle belle indagini esplorative da fare, sul **come** faccia. A te
magari non interessano, Giacomo, ma a me invece molto...
