There's a product called Dynax S50 from Bilt Hamber which outperforms Waxoyl, Dinitrol and Tectyl in salt-spray tests. It's available in handy aerosol cans and in brush-on form. I've used it for many years and find it excellent.
They also do a coating specifically designed for chassis/underbody protection, called Dynax UB, but I've not tried that yet. Tim No connection with the company apart from being a satisfied customer.
