You can get black Waxoyl now in an aerosol, I treated the insides of the tubes (with a home-made extension) on the three wheeler this year with it.

With regard to Pride of Ownership we don't judge the underside (with this in mind), and I would expect most cars to be treated with some sort of inhibitor. Mine certainly is. But Waxoyl??? - I used it since it first appeared in Exchange & Mart, up to the early 90's. But after experimentation I found that other products were more convenient to use and longer lasting. So I now go for either Dinitrol. Or a Tectyl product (made by Valvoline). Some of the Tectyl aerosols go on very easily (no silly hand pumps) and dry to a waxy residue which lasts & lasts. http://www.valvolineeurope.com/english/products/tectyl/aftermarket/cid%28604 %29/tectyl_multi_purpose/506?category=tectyl Dave ------------------------------------------- View posts on The Mail Archive http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/ [http://www.mail-archive.com/[email protected]/] Modify Your Subscription: https://www.listbox.com/member/?member_id=22459785&id_secret=22459785-4a39ddf8 Powered by Listbox: http://www.listbox.com
