Hello. I am always successfully used my miro drx card with Your drivers under RedHat 8.0 and Fedora Core 1 All I did it is: insmod i2c-old insmod saa7110 insmod adv7175 insmod videodev insmod zr36067
I learn to load this modules, because on my card there are chips with same names (saa7110, adv7175) My lspci command tells me: 01:06.0 Multimedia video controller: Zoran Corporation ZR36057PQC Video cutting chipset (rev 01) But... It was failed with fedora 2 (kernel 2.6) Now... I have read that module i2c is replaced with two anothers... So I did in Fedora 2 insmod videodev.ko insmod i2c-core.ko insmod i2c-algo-bit.ko insmod videocodec.ko insmod saa7110.ko insmod adv7175.ko (not sure which was a sequence but all without errors) Then, if I do insmod zr36067.ko It tells insmod: error inserting 'zr36067.ko': -1 No such device than I do insmod zr36067.ko -f (force) He tells me: insmod: error inserting 'zr36067.ko': -1 Unknown symbol in module Now i thinked that I miss something, look one more too to Your site, and noticed, that in case of Miro DC10 (new) (I suppose it is my card) You did insmod 36060 and insmod some unknown zoran.o As I guess, zoran.o is zr36067.ko in my distribution I loaded zr36060.ko then zr36067.ko again did not loaded. I do not know what can I do Please, help! I like my card very much and it always works perfectly with my linux machines. I always recorded video with lavrec andmade many good vcds about my friends, my dog, and my family. Please, help! I do not even want to think I should use Windows with its crappy 'explorer' shell... BTW I should tell You, that Your drivers works prefectly under linux and commercial drivers from pinnacle can not capture with so good quality!!!!!! One uncomfortable thing... only one... I can't see on the display what I have capturing... I should use tv for it. But I have no tv ;) It is OK, I can work with it. I only want to know how I should setup my card to work with Fedora Core 2 ;) (or should I say kernel 2.6) ;) Thank You very much!
