Hi, As you suggested, I tried with libdv configured by default, and mjpegtools with yv12. The result of lav2yuv | yuvplay is a distorted green image. Seems that default configure for both is the way to go.
smil2yuv segfaults with both configurations though... If you want I can send a gdb trace. Another problem is that lav2yuv does not deal well with huge files (>2GB I suppose): strace suggests it enters in some loop calling lseek. While I can use raw dv in the meantime, I certainly would prefer to use lav2yuv.... What might be wrong here?
