Hallo, after having read all the references, I am a little bit confused concerning the interlace/progressive question. I intend to burn PAL-SVCD. Since progressive input seems to be much faster encoded than interlaced, I wonder if the SVCD standard allows for progressive material? What does SVCD 1.0 say? Are hardware players following the standard verbatim?
