Apart from the fact that the PVR isn't supported under linux (or is it
nowadays? Afaik, MPEG encoding doesn't work yet), I doubt that the PVR
would give as much quality as the zoran+mpeg2enc combination gives...
This combination gives extremely high quality (especially when denoising
is used for these last few noise bits) at a not-too-high size, I doubt
whether the PVR can give such good results. I've never heard people
recommend it over a DC10+.

It's time consuming, definately, but the results are worth it.

*grin*. DVB... *melts*. We old-fashioned dutchmen are still stuck with
old-fashioned cable for at least another 10 years. DVD (!) is just
something that's gradually being adapted by the consumers here nowadays.
;-).
