Not cheap ? Flexoptics programmers are available for free.
As explained on their website, all you need to do is:
(a) No later than 2 weeks after you receive the programmer, you need to submit
feedback on their website.
(b) You need to agree they can publish your feedback publicly.

So basically the only cost is you taking 5 minutes to write a few nice words
about Flexoptix.
For clarity: I'm not a Flexoptics shill. Just a happy customer. We've been
using them at $work for 20+ years, haven't bought vendor specific SPFs since

hardware.
