It's called "fair use" in US law, John. If you don't want people to quote you, then don't say things in public. Dave Walters then adds on about copyright laws. This is just more of the silliness that is so common among "Marxists". Of course Ben has every legal right to post my comments wherever he likes. I personally never repost onto my blog anything that appears here on this list or on Facebook without checking with the author first. It's called common courtesy. This list, while legally public still in actual fact is semi closed. But who cares about the real life situation when we have bourgeois law behind which we can hide? It's a bit like "who cares about the actual role of the 'progressive' union bureaucrats when we can hide behind their formal reputation?" (In case anybody is curious: I have known Ben for many years and prefer not to be publicly associated with him in any way. That includes leaving the illusion that I am interested in engaging with him. My previous comments were more aimed at the speakers on that forum, none of whom evidently raised the disgraceful role of the union leadership. That includes the outright traitorous role of the great hero of the left, Sean Fain. The "Marxists" love to denounce the Democrats to high heavens, thereby proving - to all 20 or so of each other - how very revolutionary they are. Meanwhile, they forget all about the role of the working class and it's leadership. How very convenient,) John Reimann -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Groups.io Links: You receive all messages sent to this group.
