Hari, there were no "Marxist-Leninist Parties" anywhere in 1922. That includes
the Communist Party of the Soviet Union. [it would be good if you could clean
this up so that it is understandable to list, unless in fact this is quote from
someone else. It is VERY hard to tell what is YOU writing and what your quoting
from in your message here] That was an ideological symbology imposed on the
Comintern parties much later. Few parties described themselves in this way (and
none that I ever heard about). They *only* described themselves as Communist
Parties , full stop.

FYI...I don't know enough about the mass based Italian Communist Party, the
section of the Comintern nor the Italian Socialist Party, which even then
"looked to the Comintern" or this particular part of Italian workers history.
One probably couldn't say enough bad things about Bordiga so I wouldn't
disagree with your statement on this.

But, the reports Clara Zetkin gave to the early and then still revolutionary
Comintern on the rise of Italian Fascism are outstanding analysis. The book
Fighting Fascism: How to Struggle and How to Win, edited by John Riddell and
Mike Taber was released a few years ago and deals with much of this.

David
