I have no numbers, but from my experience the amount of spam actually
dropped in last years. So it's quite possible that while it might have been
around 90% some time ago, it is closer to 50% now. At least that doesn't
look improbable to me.

I even wrote not so long ago about a particular moment/event it seems to be
quite clearly associated with :) - at least from what I see.
