This definitely matches my recent experience, with undeniably small sample size (basically down to two users with various aliases at this point), the actual spam is easier to block but the outreach stuff from vendors we've used and want to hear from has increased exponentially. I'm glad to see that most of them have some way to rein in the daily breathless news about sales and specials and whatnot by adjusting preferences, but wow, it's really out of hand. I mean, just because I recently upgraded my iPhone and bought a case for it doesn't mean I need to hear from you every day for two weeks about NEW CASES I MIGHT ALSO WANT TO BUY FROM YOU. :-/ So, all other things being equal, we still see a LOT of spam attempts and block almost all of them, but we're also seeing a LOT more legit mail, even if it's at a scale that I personally find overwhelming lately. Might just be the season, but I don't think it's all black friday stuff.
