Hi List In the last couple of days, our outbound IP addresses keep getting blocked by Microsoft.
Last on 12. October with Message: 550 5.7.1 Unfortunately, messages from [157.161.12.69] weren't sent. Please contact your Internet service provider since part of their network is on our block list (S3150). You can also refer your provider to http://mail.live.com/mail/troubleshooting.aspx#errors. [Name=Protocol Filter Agent][AGT=PFA][MxId=11B9D54E88BF532F] I double checked with the statistics from the SNDS Service. The IP did not show up in this list on 12. October or the day before. Some ip addresses on the same /24 (many are used for our email services within that /24) were in the yellow state, but never in the red state. We still get about 90% false positives from Microsoft customers using the Junk folder as Trash, inadvertently reporting all those emails they receive from our customers as spam to us. But that seems to be a German language problem which I attempted to address many times with Microsoft without any success yet. The IP addresses found in the red state are in completely different networks in our AS and belong to most probably trojanized customers. On https://sendersupport.olc.protection.outlook.com/pm/troubleshooting#errors I can't find any mention of S3150 or PFA. Google Research shows S3150 being related to rate limiting and Microsoft Support asking the Sending ISP to contact Microsoft (which when I contact them, I get told that the 'paying' Microsoft Customer has to contact them, not the ISP) Has anyone a clue, what might be the cause and how to resolve?
