Domain registration is different from hosting servers that are being
used by spammers.

You have to tell what you exactly need.
Do you need to run your own DNS servers?
Some registrars don't make that possible. Ask them before signing up,
also ask if you can set the glue records via their interface.
I made bad experience by not doing that (they enabled you to set NS
records, but not the glue records).

Also check if they support setting the DNSSEC stuff in the parent zone
if you want to use it. Not every registrar supports that.

I currently use Hetzner, you can use your own DNS servers and you can
set the glue records via their interface.

Although, I haven't checked DNSSEC.

For hosting your SMTP servers, you can use another provider if needed.
