Hi, I'm just a bit sad about the fact they seem to dismiss that it is a mainstream product, and thus, nothing will actually be turned on.
The thing I love about Apple, is that Apple does not presume to know what the end-user wants. This is the benefit. You can customize everything to your liking, including accessibility settings. The fact that VoiceOver, or any accessibility setting is not on by default is good, in that it promotes the undeniable point it is mainstream, and usable by everyone who decides to use it, regardless of their disability or lack thereof Technically, it is a product catering to people with disabilities as well as people who are not impaired in any way. IF that is not the definition of "universal access", I do not know what is. Really, though, I'd be really interested to hear why blindness organizations consider products, even those that are certainly mainstream products, to have an accessibility feature turned on just because the device possesses this functionality. I'll probably never understand it.
