As to whether to get a cellular version or not, that one is strictly up to you. The cellular version will allow you to make and receive phone calls without needing your iPhone on your person. Otherwise, without the cellular option, if you have your iPhone within Bluetooth range nearby, it does the same thing. The cellular version just means you can leave your big old phone at home and just wear your watch. Oh yes, the other thing about the cellular version is that if you get it, it will add $10 a month to your cell phone bill.
