Why do you Beleive Apple's Face ID is SO Secure because Apple Says So?
Personally, I Beleive
Touch ID is More Secure & Gives Users More Security & Privacy than
Apple's Face ID
Would Apple go Away from The Norm & Keep its iPhoneX special
by Having it be the ONLY iPhone to come Equipped With Face ID for a
Couple of Years to Justify the Price?
Probably Not

Hi Tim,
Facial recog is more secure than finger prints in this products case.
But yes an identical twin would be required and then I believe may
still struggle.
I'll be surprised if someone doesn't crack the facial recognition
some time soonn as they did pretty quickly with samsungs galaxy s8
version of it.
Which I believe is only retinal scan. Or was it iris scanning.
But either way,
If the looking directly at the phone / screen feature is auto
disabled if vo is active, is that not a good feature for us as they
have seen there may be an issue for blind / VI users looking
actually at the phone camera.
To me this is a forward thought.

Hi,
While I don't wish to minimize anyone's concerns, Face ID even
without the eye contact feature is still very secure. You basically
need to be a twin to be able to fool the system from most things
I've heard or read. When the finger-print sensor was first
introduced on the iPhone, there was quite a bit of noise made about
possible security flaws, and now we're touting it as more secure
than Face ID. I'm just not confident in many of these opinions out
there. Joe Public just doesn't have the in-depth data required to
do a proper assessment of its true security risks.

The thing that makes me sad is that Apple, by all accounts,

The security issue is specifically if you disable that part of face
id that requires you to actually look at the phone. I think I read
that this will be off by default if the system detects VO is in use.
And this means there is less security to the face id feature than is
the case if this setting is left enabled.
