May be they don't know how to put Tuch ID in the screen yet. May be when they know, touch ID will be put back in their future designs of phones. I think Apple want to get it right before they put Touch ID back in the screen. that is my guess although I might be wrong.
I wonder what else Apple will do with future phones as after wireless charging what is the next improvement and factor to make people buy the next phones?
