Yeah, what about variables in automater. I could never make that work. For a workflow I want to do, I want to make one to download the 3 files that make up a 3 hour radio show whose podcast seems so corrupted, almost everything says no episodes are found. Come to find out, the feed contains 3 or 4 years worth of shows times 3 files each, so maybe not much can process podcasts that large. Also, the file names have percent 20's in them, so 3 wget commands with the date as a variable, the long constant part of the url as another, and running it for the 3 hours named 12pm, 1pm, and 2pm wouldn't seem possible as percent signals variable, so making it send the percent 20's in the url would seem hard. Why anyone posts files like that is beyond me, but that's this radio station for you, who I think Clearchannel might own.
