Does it work when you log in > as admin under Vista? > > regards Uwe Hello Uwe First i tried to run lyx as admin but there was no change in the behaviour. Then i uninstalled it completly over Windows board methods (Add/remove programms or Vista like Programs and Functions) and reinstalled it. The installer worked properly (first lyx files, then miktex base, Console with initexmf.exe and mdm.exe, aspell install and download, configure, during configure miktex update, ready) Then i started lyx the first and it won't work. There was no processing. and i after waiting 20 minutes i killed latex.exe and lyx.exe via taskmanager. Then i tried to call lyx.exe over a console and got a failure: "TextClassList::Read: no textclasses found!" Okay now i stopped first to get your opinion about this. The last time i copied the fiel textclass.lst from bin dir to appdata/lyx15 dir. in the appdata/lyx15 dir exists such a file, but with 0 bytes. I also called the configure.py the last time, and let it work two times. But not this time. What do you think about this?
