Hello Today i tried to install the new lyx 1.5.1. For this i downloaded first the lyxwininstaller from berlios project page and let it run. After installing und updating all parts lyx needs i updated miktex to the actual state. Then i tried to start but it won't work. So i looked a little bit around what can de the reason for this bad start of lyx. After copying the textclass.lst from the binary dir to my appdata dir lyx starts correctly and i can work with it. But if i want to make a preview in pdf (by clicking the button) i just recieved a failure dialogbox telling me:
"The Folder C:/Temp/[EMAIL PROTECTED]/lyx_tmpbuf0\ does not exist. The File has probably moved or deleted. Do you want to create this one? YES NO" (It's translated from German, so i don't think that there is a exact match with english version) After i Recieved this i thougt to install the lyx binary from lyx.org download linklist but the failure is already there with this version. So, took a look to the Tempdirectory and i saw that the structure mentioned in the dialog box exists and there is also a pdf including my content. Can anyone help me and give me a hint where i can look or make this failur gone away. My OS is Vista and i have installed Acrobat Reader 8.1 with all updates. Has anyone a similar failure?
