OK, this has nothing to do with acroread/acrobat. Could you please check if the Path given in the
error dialogs exists. If yes, is there the PDF-file XXX-preview.pdf.
I also wonder about the path in the error dialog that ends with a "/" instead of "\". But anyway,
does it help when you set in LyX's preferences another folder than "C:\Temp" as temp folder?
