I would prefer not to have it. I am sorting the mail and having a folder
where every subject line starts with [lyx-users] is shifting the
information off screen.

Well, as a parent I would say in several occasions this is perfectly
normal. When asked a favour, I must have the choice to say no --- and
sometimes there is simply no time to explain.
