That should not be the problem. The directories and their contents need
to be in the _system_ directory (wherever that is on Windows). Nothing
needed in the user directory, unless a user wants to add their own
templates.
But copying the system tabletemplates directory *with its contents* to
the user directory does solve the problem, at least on my system. An
empty tabletemplates folder in the user directory still causes a crash.
