My take on this is to let such things like "Labeling" untranslated, because such translation renders the (German) KOMA documentation unusable. It is really annoying to figure out every time which of "Beschreibung" and "Beschriftung" was the labeling and description environment, resp. If we really insist on translation, there should be a way to get the original environment name. Jürgen BTW I also think that "Beschriftung" is not an ideal translation for caption. The appropriate translation is "Legende" (according to "Reclams Sachlexikon des Buches").
