Yes it does. In fact, it even improves things on Linux (at least with the 5.6alpha I'm testing): before, it was possible to undock the advanced find and scrunch it up to a similar screenshot that you posted. Now this is impossible (which is a good thing). I don't understand why it works, but please put it in. I noticed another problem that has nothing to do with your patch. I can undock advanced find, stretch it to be very large, then dock it, and I no longer see the buttons. I did a fresh build just to be safe. Does this mean that we can ship with 5.5.1 now? That would be much better than 5.4.2 I think because I remebmer Qt versions before 5.5 having problems (like the doubling of the tab issue). Scott
