Why is this an advantage? Now the index entry boxes are unnecessary large - take for example the EmbeddedObjects manual. Showing the "name" of the index is no good idea, we also don't show footnote text in the footnote label. Book indexes like the ones in the LyX docs don't have a "name" but use LaTeX-code, have sublevels, etc..

Instead of this, the aim should have been to make the label translateable. Therefore the label should have the name "Index" so that it could be translated in the .po-files (like we already for e.g. for the footnote label).

Besides this, I don't know why this could go to branch since there was no need 
for this change.
