I can not input anything (because I don't know how to set that up), but I can load existing files and compare with the generated DVI output. I do see some hebrew displayed in reverse order, but I am not sure yet whether that is the same problem that Guy is seeing. The locale should not have anything to do with it, that is only needed for translating menus and things like figure labels. Georg
