Is there anyone else out there testing 1.5.0svn with any BiDi language?

I can not input anything (because I don't know how to set that up), but I can load existing files and compare with the generated DVI output. I do see some hebrew displayed in reverse order, but I am not sure yet whether that is the same problem that Guy is seeing. The locale should not have anything to do with it, that is only needed for translating menus and things like figure labels.

See my reply from yesterday to Abdel, where I point to a test file, as well as screenshots of correct and incorrect display --- do you see it correctly or incorrectly?

If you also want to be able to input Hebrew, on WinXP you can try setting it up as I explained to Abdel (you need an installation disc, though); on Linux it's probably not as standard, but what I do is this:

setxkbmap -compat "group_led" -symbols "us(pc104)+il+group(menu_toggle)"

and that makes the Windows menu key toggle between hebrew and english input. If this doesn't work, and you're interested, I can try to help out some more with this, I imagine it's awfully system-dependent...
