I believe that _we_ are causing qt to behave incorrectly, see a mail from Jean-Marc about qApp->setLayoutDirection(Qt::LeftToRight); in src/frontends/qt4/GuiApplication.C from last week. I will investigate this after the clipboard and document encoding things are finished, but this may take some time. Georg
