It seems that I was too fast to conclude there. Here is something that
actually fails, though:

* open a math inset (M-m m)
* open the math menu by hand (M-m space)
* enter a square root (s)

I'm not sure how importan this kind of problem is. It does not seem to
be related to the kbd binding, though (my mistake).
