REAL STORY ---------- three days ago, I called a "Musakh Murshe" for Citroen in Herzlia to change two of my hydraulic bulbs. when I came in this morning the guy at the front told me to leave because I won't be admitted. "but I set an appointment!", "really? they accepted an appointment for a BX?", I thought that was very rude so I went to talk to the manager, and he too politely hinted I'll be getting very slow and unwilling service if I insist to get service. the car is 13 years old and not a shiny new Xantia. He sent me to his next-door garage, who finished the job in 30 minutes and 150 shekels less, and we had a friendly chat during his work. I'm not sure what the lesson is here... the point is that there is not only one holy source, you can find another list that more suits your needs, or the people are nicer. This is linux-il, take it or leave it. we're coarse and ugly Israelis, and we refuse to change. I have seen people here diss Arab subscribers, flame newbies, get into political arguments and simply behave horribly to eachother. I hate it, I try to avoid it, but I know I have my own crancky days sometimes. I expect nothing more of the list, and I feel comfortable if nothing more is expected of me. Deal? :-)) -- (@- Please do NOT cc: me answers posted also to the list //\ Send me private mail at <YourName (at) ira.abramov.org> v_/_ to send me spam please use: cat spam.txt > /dev/hda ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
