WOW - I really didn't expect to start a war. I guess I should know better - on IGLU,any spark can sometimes light a fire. Since my original answer to Erez, there have been about 30 messages in this thread. So, as the **starter** of this war, may I respectfully ask that we end the thread here and now and stop wasting each others time with interesting (but completely OT) tidbits about car repairs and the philosophy of volunteer work.
I would, however, like to make a couple of **short** comments. 1 - My intention was really not to flame Erez, and aside from raising my voice a bit, I don't think I was really very harsh. As far as flaming is concerned, only Marc and his SCSI cable are really qualified to do that properly. So Erez, If you're insulted, I apologize. I think Tzafrir put it best in explaining that the question was too vague and led to the conclusion that you hadn't done the basic research before asking your question. 2 - I think that if a question is properly asked, the list as a whole or individuals on the list often provide invaluable help. In fact, at this very moment, I'm in the middle of two **off the list** discussions. In one, I'm trying to help someone who asked me about Hebrew in KMail and in the other, someone is trying to help me solve my Hebrew Konsole problem. 3 - At the risk of starting yet another thread, may I remind you all of what was written a few days ago (I think by Ira) about the need to properly edit the quoted parts of included messages in a thread. Many of the messages in the current thread included several previous messages and in most cases just wasted band with. Anyone who is folowing the thread doesn't need all the extra quotations and someone joining in the middle probably won't know what we're writing about anyway. //------------------------- Shlomo Solomon E-Mail: [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://come.to/shlomo.solomon Date: 17-Jan-2002 Time: 17:26:07 Message sent by XFMail on a LINUX Mandrake 8.1 machine //------------------------- ================================================================= To unsubscribe, send mail to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with the word "unsubscribe" in the message body, e.g., run the command echo unsubscribe | mail [EMAIL PROTECTED]
