when there's a need - there's a way. the 6th lecture in the "welcome to
linux" lecture series we're carring out in the technion (Haifa) these days
- is all about hebrew, and setting hebrew up on linux - including most of
the subject you mention (i.e. fonts, keyboard mapping, netsacpe problems,
RTL hacks, etc). the lecture is planed for about a month from now. for
more info about it, and the whole course, go to
http://linuxclub.il.eu.org/ and click on the 'welcome to linux' link at
the top.
