We can of course include xhtml.init somehow (which configures texi2html to produce xhtml 1.0 transitional). I don't know how one can robustly include init files from the examples/ dir of texi2html, though. I don't want to copy yet another ~200 LOC to our init file, since of course it depends on the internal workings of texi2html, so things might change some time and we'll have to keep it in sync with texi2html...
