Maybe cos there wont be such stringent restraints here next season?

It does seem that LUFC has given whatever it can to its managers to spend,
just so happens that's not been very much to date.  The same could not be
said for Wolves.

He would also know that KB wasn't really expecting promotion this season, I
believe its next season he expects to have a realistic stab at it.

Well he fits with the very strong "Wapping" undercurrent that it was already

BUT -
Hoddle quit Wolves in July, stating that he felt the club's ambition failed
to match his own after they announced stringent financial cutbacks.
At Leeds he would find stringent financial cutbacks on everything (except 
whatever is charged to the fans) so why would he be happier here ?
