I think this Livermore fiasco sums up the feeling
about Blackwell on this list. Those of us that know
that Blackie hasn't a clue and those who are
desperately holding on to the fact that he's going to
come good at some point and this Livermore incident is
all part of the master plan.
Let's face facts on this one. This wasn't a bargain
basement bid for a squad player no matter what Blackie
says. We paid 700k for him ffs. Blackie is always
bleating on about how little money we have. Why would
you pay 3/4 of a million for a player who if everyone
was fit wouldn't get a game. It's a joke. Mind you
he's done it before - Harding being one example.
What do you reckon happened then ? Blackwell signed
him based on a couple of decent games against Leeds.
He has said as much in interviews. He gets to Leeds
and Blackie realises that he's an 'honest
professional' i.e. shite. Go on to the Millwall site
and you'll read a whole load of Millwall fans who
thoguht he was shite and were happy with the brass
that Leeds were paying.
So how much have Hull paid for him ? That would be
interesting ? 50k ???
Who is Blackwell going to play in midfield ? Nicholls
injured, Derry injured , bakke he doesn't like and
didn't think was worth a place at Cardiff. It's a
mess.
