What does the official site say about the transfer fee from Hull? £400k could have been with all the add-ons you get with transfers these days, extra for appearances etc.
If you look you will see we got £2.1m for Hulse in some places, or £3m in other places. Still, lets assume we didnt eh. Even if we 'lost' a whopping £150k on the deal, isn't that worth it if it frees up wages so we can buy a better/first team midfielder? Look at it this way, if it is Cisse who is on a free, lets pretend we had to pay £150k for him instead.
