1. How do you know its bad business? How do you know we haven't been paid
the same or more by Hull than we bought him for?

2. It takes 3 people to do a transfer, the buying club, the selling club and
the player themselves.

Livermore was clearly not #1 on the transfer list.

KB clearly wanted and tried for his #1, then #2 target on the list. When
those looked like they wouldn't happen for whatever reason, he went to #3.
Then all of a sudden #1 becomes available.

Basically the amount of time involved is irrelevant here - would you lot
have been whingeing like a bunch of old women if Livermore had been sold in
January because KB bought a better player? No. So why are you whingeing
now? You should be glad he was able to shift Livermore to make way for a
better player - at the end of the day that's what its all about. KB
improved the squad when he bought Livermore, and he has further improved it
a couple of weeks later.

This is what happens when you have to wheel & deal on the transfer market.

Get used to it or get over it.

Subject: RE: [LU] Livermore!

I can't believe people are defending this startlingly bad piece of business
and management.

We had 2 and a half months to make our signings for next season from a list
Blackwell always said he was compiling from about xmas last season and which
must have included Livermore (we were linked with him nearly all last
season).

This is utterly appalling management and makes us look like an absolute joke
as a club. Anyone who defends this has clearly lost the ability to be
objective and has dropped into a bunker "defend Blackwell at all costs"
mentality.

We are becoming a bad joke, our squad is a mess (anyone fancy a game in net
on Saturday?) and the only bright side is I am going to cash in only the
very generous 3/1 odds available on betfair for a Norwich win on Saturday.
Roll on the sacking, but who will want to come and work for Bates?
