I think this is actually good business.
Whoever made the decision had balls to do so knowing what sort of reaction
they were going to get.
Under the old management the player would have ended up in the stiffs and
getting good money-I take it that people still realise that we are still
playing the wages of players who don't play for the club.
So they realise that the player they actually wanted all along is available
they make the decision knowing how it will be percieved.
They are honest to the player and gives him options rather then trying to
pull a fast one on him-and also saves the club money.
So really how bad is it?
