No, it doesn't work from within a mailbox.

It's come down to the numbering plan apparently. We noticed that the
manager mailboxes are now 4 digits (999x instead of 99x). We can enter
those mailboxes using #6 * 999x.

During initialization, new mailboxes were created in the 2xxx range based
on the numbering in the TD1232. We can call into those mailboxes OK, just
not the 3 digits mailboxes. When we try to edit one of the 3-digit
mailboxes from the programming menu, it says those are invalid numbers. I
double checked the number plan menu - 2xxx and 1xx are both on the menu.

I have deleted all of the 2xxx mailboxes (weren't being used anyway), and
removed the 2xxx number plan entry. Still no go. Is this thing really
stuck on a 4-digit plan and not allowing me to use the 3-digit 1xx mailbox
numbers?

I really don't want to do a full wipe of the system to get back to 3-digit
numbers, do I? Any other settings that I need to check - I thought I'd
checked all of them.
