I have had this working for two years now. I use Vonage and take the output from their adapter directly into a CO port on the KXTD-1232x switch. All works fine. When I pick up that line from a key set, I hear the stutter indicating I have voice mail waiting on Vonage a pick up the voice mail with no problem. All I have done here is tell you is it easily doable, not what you are missing. Sorry

Go off hook with the single line phone. Do you hear stutter? If so, press the associated CO key on a system phone. Do you hear stutter? If not, the customer needs a new phone man, cuz you did somethoing wrong :) T here is nothing that the phone system can do to prevent/filter/stop the stutter. If you *don't* get stutter on the single line phone, work your way back to the demarc and figger out why..... -Joe -- ------------------------- Joe Childs- Austin Telecom [EMAIL PROTECTED] We buy and sell Panasonic KX-T,VA and DBS 775 888 9292 ------------------------- On Tue, 12 Dec 2006 08:17:13 -0500, you wrote: >When they pick up the system phone, are they dialing 9 to access the outside line or are they pressing the CO button first before lifting the handset? >Carmen > > >-----Original Message----- >From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] >To: kxt@kxthelp.com >Sent: Tue, 12 Dec 2006 2:13 AM >Subject: KX-T: KX-T123211D - VoIP interupted dial tone > > >I have a customer with an old KX-T123211D KSU that just switched to VoIP with >Cablevision [Optvoice] > >The interrupted dial tone indicating a voice mail message is clear when >connected to the back to the cable modem but is not passed to the system phones. > > >Has anyone experienced this and found a correction or programming for this >problem? > >Happy Holidays, everyone. > > Bob Bruskin > President > Halstead Electronics Ltd. > [EMAIL PROTECTED] > > >_________________________________________________________________ >KX-T Mailing list --- http://kxthelp.com/ >Subscription changes: http://kxthelp.com/mailman/listinfo/kxt >________________________________________________________________________ >Check out the new AOL.
