This was in issue here (or somewhere else) earlier this year. -Plug a splitter directly into the CO board port you are dealing with. -Connect CO line to the splitter. -Connect single line phone to the splitter. Go off hook with the single line phone. Do you hear stutter? If so, press the associated CO key on a system phone. Do you hear stutter? If not, the customer needs a new phone man, cuz you did somethoing wrong :) T here is nothing that the phone system can do to prevent/filter/stop the stutter.
