Hello Erling, The problem occurs even when there is only one call. I have the intercept routing on the trunk groups set up as follows:
Trunk 1 (only contains line 1): 165 Trunk 2 (only contains line 2): 166 Trunk 3 (only contains line 3): 165 Trunk 4 (only contains line 4): None - this is a fax line When line 1 or 2 is answered, it goes straight to my voicemail. One strange thing I have noticed though, I have DIL 1:1 set to 166 for line 2 in night mode, and when it is in night mode it answers correctly with the custom service menu. Thanks, Edward -----Original Message----- From: Erling Lassesen [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Friday, 2 September 2005 10:45 PM To: Edward Forgacs; kxt@kxthelp.com Subject: RE: KX-T: KX-TVP50 Voicemail Problems There is one other way. You will have a problem if more then one call is answered by the VM for greeting one (will play greeting 2). Set one path to VM ext 165 (Greeting 1) and the second path to VM ext 166 (Greeting 2). -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Edward Forgacs Sent: Friday, September 02, 2005 4:22 AM To: Erling Lassesen; kxt@kxthelp.com Subject: Re: KX-T: KX-TVP50 Voicemail Problems Hello Erling, Thanks for your reply. I have tried setting up trunk groups but it didn't make any difference, and as each line is in its own TRG I don't think that peculiarity you mentioned was the problem. Any other thoughts? Thanks, Edward -----Original Message----- From: Erling Lassesen [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Sent: Thursday, 1 September 2005 12:08 AM To: Edward Forgacs; kxt@kxthelp.com Subject: RE: KX-T: KX-TVP50 Voicemail Problems You need to use Trunk Groups instead of Ports. Now, this is where programming is not what you would expect. Trunk Group 1 is actually Line 1, TRG 3 = Line 3, etc. -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Edward Forgacs Sent: Tuesday, August 30, 2005 9:19 PM To: kxt@kxthelp.com Subject: KX-T: KX-TVP50 Voicemail Problems Hi, I'm having some problems with a KX-TVP50 I've tried to set up. The system is programmed to answer with the voicemail after 4 rings but it seems to be very erratic and the voicemail is answering with the wrong thing. The voicemail is set to answer with custom service 1 for port 1 and custom service 7 for port 2, but both ports are being answered by my voicemail and callers never get the custom service menu. What have I done wrong?
